It is with delight that I can confirm my paperback will be released on 25th June 2009. The hardback is doing fantastically well and I’m hoping the paperback will do even better.
Thanks for your continued support.

Fortunately it brought me to my senses and for once I put my family first and not the job which by then I learned too late I was just a number! The circumstances leading to you losing your job were the stuff of nightmares you didn’t make a mistake you just did the job expected by members of the public up and down the country. I maintain contact with a handful of ex-colleagues from the job and you know what Michael you are in much better place for you and your family – do not stop writing you have a great talent and a great future – Gary.
Posted by Gary | November 10, 2009 9:29 pmI finished reading your book in one day – utterly unputdownable. As a serving officer in Hong Kong I’m glad to say that what happened to you would not happen here. However, the way that we seem to track the UK policing developments (good & bad) I’m not confident to predict that that will be the case in 5 years.
Even if that weasel Millburn has got promoted I trust that all the West Yorks coppers go out of their way to make her feel an unwanted, distrusted and disliked traitor. Who’s to say that she won’t do the same to another bloke simply trying to do the job in good faith?
You have my admiration for the way in which you’ve handled yourself throughout. I eagerly await your next book. Thanks for standing up for the lads & lasses at the sharp end.
