The Dark Side

Friday, 04 April 2011

I have now completed around 30,000 words of The Dark Side. My investigations have taken me further than I thought I would go and I am currently in the process (or have already) of interviewing the following: Criminal Cases Review Commission, West Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Police Authority, my original barrister funded by the Federation, my original solicitor funded by the Federation. There are many questions that need answering about my case, which has raised credible doubts about the fairness of our judiciary. How can the main prosecution witness change her account of events so significantly and never get challenged? Why can’t credible and weighty evidence that was never put before the jury constitute grounds for appeal? The Dark Side will examine the limitations of a judiciary that is failing so many wrongly convicted people every day.
