At last I am able to formally announce the publishing plans for my book after a few months of uncertainty.

The Friday Project was acquired by HarperCollins last month and fortunately my book is to be part of their plans going forward.

I have been told that it will be released in hardback in September this year and released next year as a paperback copy.

I’ll keep my blog and website updated with all new information. For everyone who has emailed me about purchasing the book, may I thank you for your interest and patience.

The Secret Leeds event was a huge success and I was really pleased with the reaction my book received.

It was a great mixture of literary talent and it was quite humbling sharing the stage with the likes of Ian Duhig whose deep knowledge of the city is matched by his ability as a poet. Kester’s fascination with the Oluwale case never ceases to amaze and the extensive research he’s done is justified by his articulate story telling in the book.

I’ve been invited to the next one and I’ll keep my blog updated as to when it shall be.

I have been invited by Kester Aspden, author of The Hounding of David Oluwale, to read an excerpt from my book at Waterstone’s in Leeds on Monday 19th May 2008.

The Secret Leeds event takes place at 7pm and tickets are free, but reservation is necessary by contacting the branch on 0113 2444588.

I’m delighted to have been asked and will be in the company of a number of other local writers all of whom shall be reading from their books.

I’d like to thank the people who have been emailing me about my book. I’m flattered that you’ve been trying to buy it and am sorry for the delay in publication.

I have recently spoken with my publisher and things are back on track. I still haven’t had a date confirmed yet but I’m confident that it will be out this year.
